These are for segregated collection and transfer for effective processing and management. Special care for hazardous household waste is taken as it can be harmful to the environment, and even cause physical risks for the workers at the waste processing and material recovery facilities. Fusion team strives to combine DTDC with awareness generation and additional real time citizen engagement and feedbacks.

Encouragement of 4 bins through Community Engagement

FWMC actively engages with cities for providing wide ranging support across the entire range of solid waste management requirements. The following section contains description and representative examples of the services offered by FWMC. This includes collection and transport support, processing, recycling, repurposing and disposal of waste.

Composting and Bio-methanation

Fusion supports a wide range of composting technologies and methods including vermicomposting, open-windrow composting and anaerobic composting. We plan for optimum design and engage in continuous process improvements customised as per the city’s requirements.

Composting is being done at the waste management facilities as well; the organic waste is processed and composted in specially developed facilities. The compost produced is distributed to farmers and also sold by the municipal corporation.

Recycling turns things into other things. Which is like magic.

e-Waste Management

To address the rising amount of e waste generated in cities, FWMC is exploring different methods for safe and sustainable recycling and disposal of e-waste.

Scientific Landfill

Scientific Landfills address the various risks posed by unplanned waste dumpsites. The development and maintenance of a scientific landfill requires specialized care and expertise. Such a landfill produce a potential source of pride such as methane which can be reused for various economically beneficial purposes.

Emergent Areas

Fusion undertakes feasibility and planning along with technology partner and additionally implements and operates facilities for cities through their PMU support programme. Cognizant of the tremendous menace of plastic wastes and additional hazards of electronic wastes with their tremendous environmental damage to Mother India, Fusion is presently expanding its services to cover these segments. The strategy is to work with specialist alliance technical partners and additionally integrate with our regular support for DTDC, MRF, Dumpsite/Landfill planning and management activities and further integrate our existing awareness campaigns and initiatives.
